I started the day yesterday at level 36, and by the end of it I had accomplished my goal of reaching level 40. It took me a bit to find a zone I felt comfortable in. I went to Kedge Keep (and underwater zone), Guk, and Splitpaw. The experience really slows down as you near ‘end game’ and it didn’t feel like things were flowing as smooth as they used to, so it did take me some time to get these levels. As I mentioned before, it feels like you’re actively punished for grouping with other people, so me and my husband opted to go down different roads and play together but not ‘together’ as it were. It worked out for both of us, but is NOT my optimal play method. I’m hoping once we’re 50 and start farming raid mobs we’ll join back up together.
I got a flowing black silk sash for my pet, and a few other odds and ends that I hope to level up over time. Nothing exciting to write home about – which is perfectly ok. I’m still currently playing a Paladin / Beastlord / Rogue combination, but I will probably change in the future. To what? No idea, we’ll just have to see.
