Another guild mate joined up with Nostalgia Inc, which I am always so tickled to see. I spent some time adventuring in Mistmoore, Splitpaw, and Guk, but didn’t make too much progress as it was just too warm. I am currently sitting at level 36 on my Beastlord (main), paladin, rogue combination. I had thought maybe I’d swap rogue for bard, but that just wasn’t working for me. I am hoping that eventually I’ll have each of the classes leveled up, but we’ll see how it goes, I don’t want to burn out and would rather just take my time with things.
Experience has slowed down a bit and mobs have gotten harder. I’m still a little annoyed that you’re actively discouraged from grouping by the experience bar moving MUCH slower. I’m sure you’re supposed to kill faster and make up for it that way, but it feels very much like a penalty. I’ve been gaining experience in difficulty 0 on a solo respawning kick (I heard these are tailored for solo players) and then I think I will try to do some farming, later. I’d also like to get into tradeskills but I think it would benefit me to be 50 at least on a trio before attempting that, to make farming easier.
Still. I’m having a blast! The game has been out for one week now, and it seems to be doing alright.
