Games galore. There was fish slap, human dart, horse races, fishing, and all sorts of other fun things going on. I decided to stick close to the forges, and worked on my weapon smithing skill – that’s the great thing about impalongs, you can work on your skills and all of the materials and supplies are free. The gains were not great, but considering I didn’t use sleep bonus or moonshine, they were not too bad. I am hoping to focus on working this skill once the impalong is done – ideally I’d like to reach 80 WS. Right now I am at 65. I’d also like to work towards getting my cape from journal completion, but we’ll see how that goes. It requires… a lot. Even for me.
Chiqqa came around and passed me some sleep powder as a thank you for working at the impalong (thank you!) and I loaded up on some awesome pizza to keep myself full. My Fo priest is currently working on channeling, you need over 70 to cast on other peoples items, and right now she is at 58, so she cannot help out (yet). I’m not really interested in the competitions or prizes (though there are some incredible ones this year) but I am having fun talking to others and just watching the events take place.
One prize I would love to win, is a dye kit from Sidereal. I’ve ‘known’ them for a very long time, and with 100 natural substance skill, they are the best in the business. In the meantime, it’s just lovely to hang out with everyone and see why Wurm is so great.
