[Warcraft] Gold Making – Week 44 (2025)

Well, I missed out (again) on getting some posting done, this past week has just been too busy to be able to do all of the things. There were some smaller sales that went on, but nothing too drastic. I’m still selling at a reduced volume, by only posting across my 10 busiest servers instead of the 20 servers I would typically post to. Eventually when things pick up again or I’ve got more free time, I will post all of the places. For now, this feels like a nice compromise.

Recipes were the sales of the week, I have to organize and go through the pets I have listed because I think I’ve forgotten to add them to the mix. Ever since guild banks broke (they display just a cage, and not the specific pet) I’ve shuffled my stock around to the warbank trying to get a nice market flow. It’s important for me to be able to see WHAT pet I’m potentially stocking up on since I use TSM, and Blizzard’s method of just having ‘pet cage’ in the guild bank is fairly useless. It has been broken for some time, so I’m not really expecting anything to change.

Hopefully everyone else is doing well, and the gold is flowing! I’ve seen a few more friends trickle back into retail vs. remix, and with 76 days left to go I imagine a lot of us are just waiting for phase 4.

Happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself!

[Warcraft] Gold Making – Week 43 (2025)

Things have started picking up again now that Remix has been live a while. I figured it would, as is the way with these things. It is a quiet time in gold making. The best time to get into things is right at the beginning of an expansion or major update. Since Legion Remix does not bring much auction house stuff to the market (there are SOME things that matter, like battle pets).

This week most sales came from transmog. A rustmaul sword sold for 600k which was a surprise (these things are plentiful and way over priced) along with Last Year’s Mutton, and a Firekin Amice. Collector’s are out looking for deals.

There were a few recipes tossed in there too, but not as many as usual. The largest seller was a recipe: Feast of the Midnight Masquerade, followed by some Tough scorpid boots.

The biggest change I personally experienced was dropping from selling on 20 active servers to 10. I expect this to be a temporary change, but I found with remix going on some of the servers I sell on were severely under performing, and it was basically a waste of time for me to be posting there. This will more than likely change again once housing is released, and I’ll continue to post on the 20 servers I usually do. For now, it’s taking much less time to post my auctions, and I appreciate that.

As always, happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself!

[Warcraft] Gold Making – Week 42 (2025)

Sales have started picking back up again after the Legion Remix rush, which is nice. Not as much as it was prior to Remix, but that’s OK. I imagine things will ebb and flow as the community wanders to and from depending on what they’re doing. The Halloween event has also started in game, so people are wandering back to regular retail for that. Since I am also playing on legion remix these days I’ve streamlined my sales slightly, so instead of selling on 20 servers (taking 1.5h to post each morning) I’m temporarily selling on only 10 servers, my 10 ‘best selling’ servers as it were (according to my ledger in tradeskillmaster). Sales on some of my servers have been incredibly low, and if I put those items up on my more populated servers instead I’m sure I can get them to move faster. This should cut down the time I’m spending in the morning posting auctions which is the main goal.

Ideally I’d just post across 2 accounts again since you can post auctions to two accounts at once using hotkeys, but I’ve been really happy with all of my auction house characters on a single account, it’s easier to take breaks and not burn out. Hopefully sales continue to rise, and in the mean time there’s certainly no lack of things to do in game!

Happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself.

Gold Making – Week 41 (2025)

You can see the exact moment that Legion Remix released on my gold making chart. For the past few weeks I’ve made a pretty steady amount of gold – but as soon as remix hit, all of that changed. Some of it is my fault, I didn’t post auctions for two days of the week and it’s hard to get sales if you’re not even posting. A good chunk of the lower sales is simply because everyone is off doing legion remix, and there’s not as much demand on the market right now. That’s OK, we’re here for the long haul.

A handful of transmog were the ‘big’ sellers this week (if they could be called that) and I suppose some sales are better than none. I think things will slowly start to climb back upwards as the rush of Legion Remix wears off and people start to wander between the versions of the game. Remember, gold making ebbs and flows. It’s constantly fluctuating and there’s all sorts of influences. Just because it’s a bit of a slump right now, doesn’t mean it always will be.

As always, happy gaming no matter where you find yourself!

Gold Making – Week 40 (2025)

It was a great week for sales, but that might have also been because for once I kept up with all of the auctions and reposted them properly. Or tried my best, at least. So the gains for this week were 12 million, and I did about 90k worth of purchases. Mostly crafting materials which have seen a sharp increase ever since the Midnight recipe components started floating around.

Most of the sales were smaller items, a lot of transmog, less pets this time around but I think that’s because all of the ‘good’ deals I had going have already sold. The Blackrock Bulwark sale is especially nice, almost 1 million gold from that alone. I also worked on my own recipe collection a bit, and overall, it was just a great well rounded week while we wait for Legion Remix to begin. I’m interested in seeing how that affects the market, will sales go down as the masses move off to the newest shiny, or will collectors decide it’s their time to shine. We’ll just have to see!

As always, happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself.
