[WoW] Gold Making Wrap Up – week 42 (2026)

It was a good week for sales (funny how that happens when I actually log in and post) and I earned just over 4.5 million gold for the week – yay! There were no real big sales, but a lot of smaller ones happened. Pets, recipes, and a handful of transmog rounded out the majority, though I did also get some crafting sales in there too.

I also ended up shuffling all of my auction house characters from account B to account A, which is something I tend to go back and forth on a few times a year. I love organization and I wasn’t sure why I really needed to have two accounts active, one that I only used for playing the auction house – so I opted to let that account lapse, at least temporarily.

I’m curious about what will happen when WoW:Forever releases in early November, and how that may affect my sales. There’s no token to earn over there, so I will continue to post on Modern Warcraft (as it’s being called these days) even though I will also be playing over there (Will it last? Who knows). While I am excited about Forever, I’m also a bit sad that we’ve hit a bit of a drought when it comes to Modern, I still enjoy playing and I am sad that we haven’t seen much news coming this way. I suppose it’s a good thing that WoW:Forever doesn’t have player housing.

Any way, sales are picking up, at least for now, and I feel like I’m finally into a nice rhythm with posting. Here’s hoping I can keep it up. As always, happy gaming – no matter where you find yourself.

[WoW] Gold Making Wrap Up – Week 41 (2026)

Well, gold making went pretty well this week, even if my consistency did not. A profit of 3.6 million gold (yay) which is above my average. Sales came from some transmog, a few recipes, and once again – pets. For a few months I’ve just been sitting on pets, but I started leveling up alts (again) via pet battle, and then selling off everything at level 25. I don’t charge any more for the higher level ones, because I use them to level my alts and figure why not. This helps move them out the door which I’m very happy about.

So I moved a good number of pets (mostly to resellers, I’m OK with this), the transmog, and a few recipes. I did slack off a bit by the end of the week, but I’m pretty happy with these numbers none the less. I also spent some time restocking, but didn’t have any big purchases to make.

The game is down for most of today for the next big patch – what am I looking forward to? Housing decor, of course.

[WoW] Gold Making Wrap Up – week 40 (2026)

Well. This LOOKS like an OK week in gold making, just over 2 million earned for the week – however. I absolutely slacked off and only posted auctions for three days this week I believe. It might have even been less. I finally got around to putting everything up on all 10 servers again, but oof. Motivation was just not here.

That’s OK, honestly. I’ve been making gold in World of Warcraft for 10 years and not every week is a winner. Sometimes I take breaks, sometimes auctions get posted later than normal, sometimes I just plain forget. I always end up wandering back though, and there is some sort of schedule even if it’s not a perfect schedule. I have been restocking (slowly) and I saw pets move again for the first time in a while.

I also sold some cheaper pieces of transmog, a few grey / white pieces that normally sit around doing nothing. I’m anxious to see how WoW:Forever will affect sales. I do not plan on getting into any auction house / sale stuff in Forever. I am planning on playing on EU, RP server, more than likely alliance. Other than that, I haven’t decided.

[WoW] Gold Making Wrap Up – Week 37 (2026)

Of course I (once again) didn’t find the time to post auctions on a few of my days this week – real life was just too busy. No big deal, I still walked away with a bit over a million gold, and that’s a good thing considering I promptly used my gold to purchase 3 copies of World of Warcraft: Forever (or whatever it’s going by these days).

I (like many other gold making goblins in Warcraft) are hoping that the new announcement for changes to transmog means that those sales will go up – though it was not the case for me this week.

Recipes and a handful of transmog once again rounded the list, and pets didn’t even make an appearance. Ah well.

[WoW] Gold Making Wrap Up – Week 36 (2026)

Well, some sales happened at least. As you can tell the start of the week fell a little short as I once again forgot to post my auctions, but that is just how it happens sometimes. I feel like I’ve gotten back into a great rhythm with my posting and I’m back on track – just in time for Blizzard to be releasing a new mount that costs 5 million gold, apparently. I’m undecided if I’ll pick it up, I don’t really need it, but who knows.

Anyway. I did manage to play a little, I did some delves, and some crafting. Sales were mostly transmog this week, which was a bit unusual. Prices seem to be fluctuating quite heavily too, so there might be some market manipulation going on. I also managed to restock all of my characters, and made some room in the guild bank for more stock.

There were no really big outstanding sales this week, just a fair number of smaller sales. Sometimes that’s all it takes.
