[WO] Goals

In Wurm Online there is a journal that is meant to help guide you a little bit, giving you increasingly better rewards until you get to ‘end game’ and in this case, that means Destinations Unknown.

There are people who have been playing far less than me (time wise) who have this achievement, and the Master cape that goes along with it – but me, well. As you can tell by the screenshot above, I’m pretty far from this illustrious goal. That being said, it IS a goal I’d like to pursue.

I headed off to an alliance deed yesterday because they have a communal large magic chest filled with recipes that one can use in order to obtain 500 total, as long as you replace what you scribe – so that was the first thing I set off to do. Then I spent most of the day working on my mining, which I am hoping will be my very first skill to 99. In Wurm Online skills rise in difficulty, it can take just as long to get from 1-98 as it does just to get 99. Getting to 100 in a skill is a multi year endeavour. In my 20 years of playing I have a single 90+ skill but honestly that comes as no surprise just due to the way I play.

The goal is to slowly pluck away at these goals, in specific the rift and mission and mob kill ones. I’ve done a lot of rifts but they were on a priest character, not my main. That one will take me some time. Well, they will all take me some time, but hey, it’s good to have goals.

Happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself.
