[WoW] Week 11 gold making wrap up (2026)

Another week of sales – slightly over 2.3 million gold in profit. I did end up spending some gold, gotta level those professions up after all, but not much. I think I actually purchased two recipes I didn’t have, too.

The sales were nothing out of the ordinary. A lot of smaller transmog and a handful of recipes, with Area 52 once again being my server of choice, bringing in 1.5 million of that total. The NA token has been dropping in price, and I expect with the start of season 1 officially beginning on Tuesday, that it will continue to drop. Remember it drops when people have a need for gold – and new gear = a need for gold. It goes up when there is no need, or there is a market place sale, or a new item in the market place (like the furniture that blizzard has been pushing). The token almost always drops at the beginning of an expansion / start of a season as people want gold to buy gear / gems / etc.

In any case, I’m alright with my smaller sales. It’s not the 10 million I used to make in a week but again I’m only selling on 10 servers these days instead of 20, so it takes me around 30 minutes each day I post. Before it was taking me an hour, sometimes more, and I wasn’t seeing the returns I wanted.

As always, happy gaming – no matter where you find yourself!

[WoW] Week 10 Gold Making Wrap Up (2026)

I was just not feeling it this week. I sporadically put things for sale but didn’t post with any sort of consistency, and instead spent some time getting quests done, doing world quests, leveling up delves, and doing all of this little tidbit items that need to get done before the actual season starts in game. I imagine everyone else is focusing on things like that, too. Then of course there is also housing.

All of that being said, I did make just shy of 2 million gold for the week, with a few large sales. The fel meteorite at the end was left overs from my remix days, most of my new auction house characters came from that and I just left it in their inventory.

A lot of old world recipes (I have even more that I need to get posted), and some transmog makes up the bulk of items this week. Now that I feel ‘caught up’ I should be good to post with more consistency, but if that doesn’t happen, it’s OK too.

As always, happy gaming no matter where you find yourself!

[WoW] Week 9 Gold Making (2026)

Alright, well, first of all very little gold making was done this week because of course the Midnight early access happened and I’ve been questing and leveling and exploring with my characters. Still, some took place. For the week I made 2.9 million, which is pretty good considering I left a lot of days with unposted auctions. I am also posting fully on all 20 servers again instead of my top 10. I’m not sure it’s making that much of a difference yet, but we’ll see.

TradeSkillMaster has added a new ‘Gold Making in the War Within’ recap – which I absolutely love. I’ve posted a small screenshot of it above, where you can see that I earned a total of 188 million gold between August 2024, and February 2026. My profit is 179 million gold, having spent just over 8 million.

Scrolling down the page I can look at statistics like realm efficiency, and season performance. I can also check and see what my biggest sale was (thank you Primitive Mantle), and what my biggest purchase was (a Crimson Mechasaur for my personal collection). I can see my busiest month (September 2025, go figure), and how many active realms I’m on as well as how many accounts I use.

Being a lover of statistics, I am incredibly pleased that TSM has added this to their website.

I currently have 1 level 90 character but I leveled up with pet battles and not through doing any Midnight content, so that character is basically just waiting for me to finish the story, which I am meandering through on my ‘main’ a level 87 paladin. I am in absolutely no rush at all, I don’t think I will reach 90 today due to life stuff, but maybe tomorrow. After that I will continue to focus on my crafting characters and try to level up my professions. I know the game launches for everyone tomorrow, and so far it has been a beautiful experience, for me personally. I adore the zones, and while I am really not much of a quest person of course I will complete them all at least once.

As always, happy gaming no matter where you find yourself.

[WoW] Gold Making – Week 8 (2026)

Sales were a little slow this week, just over 3 million gold made, but some big ticket items moved which is always lovely. Pets have taken quite a hit lately and I barely sold any, but transmog and recipes are still going strong as ever.

Sometimes it’s just people buying up multiples of an item to resell it themselves which I am perfectly fine with. I have a lot of stock, and so long as it sells for the price that I’ve got it listed for, that’s all that matters to me. If someone wants to buy up all of said item and relist it at higher than what I had it for then more power to them.

Midnight is just around the corner, and everyone seems pretty excited. Me, I will keep on doing what I do, which is NOT selling Midnight things, but I will probably start to add some items from The War Within to my stock. I tend to deal in older items, and leave the auction house PVP to the bigger goblins who have more at steak. Slow and steady.

I will not reach my goal of having 100,000,000 liquid gold, but I’m happy where I am right now, which is just over 80,000,000. Perhaps that is a challenge for Midnight. As always, take care and happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself.

[WoW] Gold Making – Week 7 (2026)

Well, this week was not a great one for gold making. I had to take a few days off because real life decided to toss some crap my way, but I did end the week with 1.8 million gold earned which I suppose is better than nothing. I had a few big ticket items, like a Footpad’s Shirt, and some smaller transmog items. No recipes sold this week, and pets are once again on a decline. I have a whole bunch of bush chickens to try to sell, so I’m probably going to liquidate those to another goblin who has more patience than me.

I’m hoping that next week is better as far as sales go, but even if it’s not it’s important to remember that making gold is a long game – at least the way I do it. I’m not working in current tier goods, I’m not selling items that have a great need or items that move quickly. I might have a bad week here and there, but there are lots of other weeks where sales are quite a bit higher than my average. So I’ll wait this out, and we’ll see what next week brings.

Also doesn’t help that this morning Blizzard took the Warband bank offline, which means all of my items and money is frozen until they let us access it again. Hopefully that gets resolved quickly.

As always, happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself!
