[WoW] Week 10 Gold Making Wrap Up (2026)

I was just not feeling it this week. I sporadically put things for sale but didn’t post with any sort of consistency, and instead spent some time getting quests done, doing world quests, leveling up delves, and doing all of this little tidbit items that need to get done before the actual season starts in game. I imagine everyone else is focusing on things like that, too. Then of course there is also housing.

All of that being said, I did make just shy of 2 million gold for the week, with a few large sales. The fel meteorite at the end was left overs from my remix days, most of my new auction house characters came from that and I just left it in their inventory.

A lot of old world recipes (I have even more that I need to get posted), and some transmog makes up the bulk of items this week. Now that I feel ‘caught up’ I should be good to post with more consistency, but if that doesn’t happen, it’s OK too.

As always, happy gaming no matter where you find yourself!

[EVE] Three Hundred Small Things

Three hundred.

When I first saw the number, I stared at it for a while, as if it might politely shrink if I gave it enough time. Tending caches has always been part of what we do—quiet work, steady work—but seeing it written down as a new requirement to joining Anoikis Division made it feel different somehow. I was already counting 4 days down, that would make 120 days flying with Signal Cartel. Sometimes when I think back to my days with Pandemic Horde I wonder how it could have changed so quickly. Other days I barely think about it at all.

Three hundred is a lot of anything.

So I made a decision early on: I wouldn’t rush it.

Burnout has a way of sneaking up on explorers. One moment you’re happily scanning signatures, the next everything feels like a chore and even launching probes seems like too much effort. I’ve learned to respect that line. So instead of sprinting toward the number, I’ve been taking it in bite-sized pieces.

A few caches today. A handful tomorrow.

The work itself is simple. Warp in. Check the container. Swap out what needs replacing. Update the records. Move on. Most systems are quiet when I arrive, the stars hanging still while I go about the task like a careful gardener tending something small but important.

Nothing dramatic happens.

No capsuleers appear on grid. No sudden scrams. No heroic rescues. Just the quiet rhythm of maintenance and movement, system after system slowly adding to the count.

Sometimes I pause after finishing one, watching the counter tick upward. 142. 147. 152. The numbers climb slowly, but they climb all the same.

Three hundred still feels far away.

But wormhole space has taught me something useful over the years: big journeys rarely happen all at once. They happen one careful jump at a time, one bookmark, one quiet task completed before moving on to the next.

So I’ll keep tending them.

A few today. A few tomorrow.

Eventually, three hundred won’t seem so large anymore.

[WoW] Week 9 Gold Making Wrap Up (2026)

Alright, well, first of all very little gold making was done this week because of course the Midnight early access happened and I’ve been questing and leveling and exploring with my characters. Still, some took place. For the week I made 2.9 million, which is pretty good considering I left a lot of days with unposted auctions. I am also posting fully on all 20 servers again instead of my top 10. I’m not sure it’s making that much of a difference yet, but we’ll see.

TradeSkillMaster has added a new ‘Gold Making in the War Within’ recap – which I absolutely love. I’ve posted a small screenshot of it above, where you can see that I earned a total of 188 million gold between August 2024, and February 2026. My profit is 179 million gold, having spent just over 8 million.

Scrolling down the page I can look at statistics like realm efficiency, and season performance. I can also check and see what my biggest sale was (thank you Primitive Mantle), and what my biggest purchase was (a Crimson Mechasaur for my personal collection). I can see my busiest month (September 2025, go figure), and how many active realms I’m on as well as how many accounts I use.

Being a lover of statistics, I am incredibly pleased that TSM has added this to their website.

I currently have 1 level 90 character but I leveled up with pet battles and not through doing any Midnight content, so that character is basically just waiting for me to finish the story, which I am meandering through on my ‘main’ a level 87 paladin. I am in absolutely no rush at all, I don’t think I will reach 90 today due to life stuff, but maybe tomorrow. After that I will continue to focus on my crafting characters and try to level up my professions. I know the game launches for everyone tomorrow, and so far it has been a beautiful experience, for me personally. I adore the zones, and while I am really not much of a quest person of course I will complete them all at least once.

As always, happy gaming no matter where you find yourself.

[WoW] It’s Early Access to Midnight day!

Today is the release of Midnight early access – in about 8 hour or so. There’s no down time scheduled, and it should just be a switch that gets turned on where we’re suddenly able to access things (if you own a copy of Midnight, that is). The “real” launch happens a few days from now.

I wrote a paragraph here about how I was going to switch my main in Midnight to a druid, and instead I’ve just deleted the entire thing. I have no idea who I will play in Midnight, even though it’s just a few hours away. I’ll just have to wing it.

I would also really like to shift my focus from gold making (which has been my main focus for about 10 years now) to collecting. I’d like to have a single character who has progressed through each and every expansion. I’d like to focus on collection transmog, the pets I’m missing, mounts, and just completing game content.

Despite the fact that I am quite proficient these days at making gold, I am not much of a quest person. There are plenty of factions I’ve never earned reputation for and I’d really like to work on all of that. Whether or not I actually WILL do these things remains to be seen. The thing is to be a ‘true’ collector you really need to focus on more than one character (If you’re doing one faction you need at least 4 characters to cover each profession – so that you can collect all of the recipes in the game). Either way, I’ll be playing multiple characters. I do want to have a ‘main’ though. Honestly choosing who to play is always the most stressful part of this damn game for me. I get such anxiety over it, for absolutely zero reason.

Anyway. Midnight is coming, yes I’m excited, and I will be in game. Feel free to say hello! I’m Stargrace#1783

As always, happy gaming – no matter where you find yourself.

[Life] Let’s Talk about TempusGameIt

As most people in my circles know (and probably a good number of folks who are not in my circles) I LOVE statistics. I play EVE Online for the spreadsheets, and even in games where you wouldn’t think there are spreadsheets, I will create spreadsheets. So. Many. Spreadsheets.

So it should come as no surprise that I was sad all those years ago when the few apps that used to track gameplay, shut down. There have been a few since then but none of them really did what I wanted them to, or they would only track a game with very specific requirements, like sure steam games are tracked through their interface and technically you can add games outside of steam – but it still wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.

Then I happened to catch part of a conversation over on Mastodon from Kevin, the creator of TempusGameIt. My interest was immediate.

Not only does TempusGameIt track your game play – but it also tracks your time idle. I LOVE this feature. Why? Again, it’s just that warm fuzzy feeling that I get from looking at statistics. Especially since I am to and from my computer all.day.long. Now I had an accurate representation on how much time I was ACTUALLY spending gaming. Active time vs. idle time.

Needless to say I absolutely love this game tracker. Kevin is also very open to suggestions, and actively works on his passion project as frequently as life allows (which is of course never frequent enough, but isn’t that how it is for all of us these days..) – I honestly can’t say enough good things about this project.

If you’re looking to track some game play sessions, check it out. I’m not being asked to make this post or endorsed in any way, I’m just a statistics loving gamer. If you happen to also like statistics, and are looking for something that might help track your gameplay sessions, TempusGameIt might be for you.

As always, no matter where you find yourself – happy gaming!
