I saw an article about this over on PCGamer, where they said it was an MMO for people who do not have time for an MMO. It reminded me of The Hero’s Journey, which was shut down and then went to court with Daybreak this year – and yes, I played it (and even wrote about it here) but then stopped once the court stuff started happening. At the start I assumed it was much like P99, which had (has?) permission to operate. Anyway, I already know that this is something that appeals to me, because I’ve already played (and loved) a version of it.
I love EverQuest. It is where I met my husband, and I have so many (many) memories – but I’m also a busy grown ass person now and I cannot play like I used to. That’s just the nature of life. Of COURSE I am going to give EverQuest Legends a go. Then I also learned that Linda Carson (also known as Brasse) is also back on the team. I’m even more excited.

WAY back when, Brasse used to work for Becket Massive Online Gamer. She left that and went to SOE to work on their community team and I got her job at Beckett. Eventually I started writing guides for EQ2, and SOE flew me down to California to interview their various developer teams in a whirlwind trip that lasted not even 3 days total.
I may not be part of the content creator portal any more, but I will absolutely be writing about my experiences, and I’m very excited for this.
